Toulouse, May 22, 2025 – Telespazio France, a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%), is proud to announce that its products and services have once again been selected by the Union of Public Purchasing Groups (UGAP), France’s leading public purchasing center, as part of the renewal of its framework agreement. This selection confirms Telespazio France’s position as the primary supplier for the strategic lot covering satellite communication solutions and associated services.

Greenerwave, the deep-tech startup specializing in electromagnetic wave control, and Telespazio France, the European leader in satellite services, announce the integration of Greenerwave's solutions into the EU SATCOM Market Catalogue. This program, run by the European Defence Agency (EDA), aims to simplify and accelerate access for armed forces and European agencies to satellite communication solutions, ensuring strict standards of performance, security, and reliability while supporting cooperation between European Union member states in the defense sector.

OneWeb, the global space-based communications company, will join Telespazio, a joint venture between Leonardo (67%) and Thales (33%), at Eurosatory 2022 to showcase their partnership for delivering OneWeb services to government customers. 

The joint venture between Leonardo and Thales already offers hosting services for the OneWeb gateways.
